I had the opportunity to read this book and take a look at the illustrations. What a cool idea to have children with food allergies draw the pictures. It's also an easy to understand way to educate kids about the dangers of food allergies and how to be safe whether you have an allergy yourself, or not.

An important book for kids, easy for kids to identify with.

A book about food allergies for kids is obviously important. But how to make the topic interesting for kids? One brilliant idea to make this lesson on allegies accessible was to have kids the same age as the targeted readers draw the cover and interior illustratons for the lessons. What a brilliant idea!

Another nice idea was to have "Nurse Teddy Bear" explain the story about food allergies to the kids.

The final great idea was to have the lessons be told to the kids in a school setting. So there are simple ways that this book makes it easy for kid readers to identify with the lessons being taught in this useful book for kids, and for teachers.

This is just the kind of book that adults can see is necessary to help kids understand universal kid school problem. But this is not an easy lesson to make interesting and accessible to most chidren But this book makes it simple for kids to learn about the problem of food allergies, and learn how to deal with what might be a frightening problem in less sensitive hands.

An excelent book that calls out for a whole series of similar health problem book to help kids in school learn how to cope without fear.

Should be the first book in a new series of health topics for young children in grade school.

This is a wonderful book for any child regardless of allergies. It is a great educational tool to help children learn about allergies. I found it to be well written and the illustrations were brilliantly selected. Children will appreciate the barricades that are being torn down by the information that is given in the book. I can't wait for the squeal edition.
